2 C sugar
2 C water
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Bring water and sugar to a boil. Add cayenne.
Add 2-5 C pecan halves. Boil 5 minutes, stirring often.
Spread nuts on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle with mixture of:
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
